Ed Krintz has been a solo and band performer for over 45 years. He has an excellent record in taking  bands to the top prize list, in part due to Ed's dedication to excellence and the open quality of his leadership, in addition to his uncanny ear for tuning.  He is currently an adjudicator with the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association and his travels take him to various Highland Games to judge competitions or to teach workshops. This former Pipe Major of the Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band ('75-'80), the Grandfather Mountain Highlanders ('80-'94) and the Loch Norman Pipe Band ('96-'08) has won most of the prestigious piping awards offered in the US and is highly sought after as an instructor of the classical pipe music, piobaireachd.
