My involvement with Rural Hill Center for Scottish Heritage, www.ruralhill.net, as well as being acquainted with many revolutionary war history buffs, has peaked my interest in colonial red-ware.  I use a fine terracotta earthenware and add a partial clear glaze that is reminiscent of that era to enhance each piece as I continue the study and practice of quality reproductions.

I also enjoy producing utilitarian vases and bowls and playing with and learning about glazes, that are so different from the oil paints, I've used for so long.
